An afternoon at the Opera

Come with the family to spend an afternoon of discovery and surprises at the Dijon Opera! Designed for parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts (etc.) and children, these half-days offer participative and creative workshops around the main themes of the Opera’s programming. Baroque opera has a centuries old tradition: we dance a lot! The dances in Handel’s time have ceded place to new and contemporary forms on the stages of today’s opera houses. But the question remains: how to dance in a modern way on ancient music? This is the challenge that opera houses launch to stage directors and choreographers, and that we pose to you today!
